Trans Basin Diversion Future

The Round Valley Indian Tribes filed a motion to intervene regarding the ongoing development of the Final Draft Surrender Agreement and the Final Surrender Application and Decommissioning Plan by PG&E. “Despite … extensive measures, the Tribe currently is not party to any of the major discussions or proceedings regarding the Project.” “The Tribe has now chosen to move for intervention in an exhaustive effort to be fairly included in the conversations that determine the divestment of the facilities and waters on their ancestral lands”

California Natural Resources Agency Hosts Virtual Discussion on Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace for Disability Pride Month

In honor of Disability Pride Month and in celebration of the 34th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, join Secretary Crowfoot to discuss the importance of disability inclusion in the workplace and explore how embracing a diverse workforce with individuals of all abilities can benefit your organization. 
The discussion will cover key points like the power of disability representation in fostering a positive company culture, leveraging the unique skills and perspectives of disabled employees to drive innovation, creating accessible work environments for all, dismantling unconscious bias to cultivate respect, and sharing best practices for building a truly inclusive workforce that benefits everyone.
