Russian River Flows
“The Mendocino County Public Health Department, along with the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board, have issued health warnings about toxic mats found in three local rivers: the East Fork of the Russian River, the Navarro River at Philo, and Standish-Hickey State Park Recreation Area.”
Application Termination for Transferring PG&E’s Licenses
PG&E filed to withdraw its application for transferring multiple licenses from PG&E to Pacific Generation on August 12, 2024. See following documents for more information:

City of Ukiah Climate Action Community Workshop 9/26/24
The City of Ukiah is pleased to announce an interactive and bilingual community workshop to take place on Thursday, September 26th , at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center (UVCC) to aid the City in its development of a Climate Action Plan (CAP) and enhance community awareness. The purpose of the September 26th workshop is to solicit feedback from the community regarding recommendations for future climate action strategies. Whether this means expanding local incentives for electric vehicles and solar power, planting more trees, and/or phasing out natural gas-run appliances, the City wants to hear from residents regarding what strategies the City should prioritize for future action.
Indicators of Climate Change: Bridging Science and Action Webinar series
The recording of the August 22, 2024 webinar, co-convened by California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), the California Air Resources Board, and the California Department of Public Health, is now available on OEHHA’s YouTube channel. This is the sixth and final webinar in the Indicators of Climate Change: Bridging Science and Action webinar series OEHHA has convened as part of its efforts to track and report on climate change and its impacts on California.
